5 London Ice Skating Rinks to Beat the Winter Blues

London Ice Skating Rinks to book this January

Confession. I used to be OBSESSED with figure skating. As in – bought Tara Lipinski’s book, attended the Campbell’s Soup Stars on Ice Tour, cried when Michelle Kwan retired, raised hell when Canada was cheated out of the pairs gold – obsessed.

So it’s no surprise that when faced with a dark and dreary London winter, I’m turning to my childhood favourites to stay entertained and keep the serotonin flowing.

Ice skating is the perfect activity to beat the January boredom – it feels festive and Christmassy, you’re getting fresh, albeit crisp, air, you can take in some of London’s iconic landmarks as you get some exercise. All very endorphin friendly. And even Dry January approved!

Lucky for us, quite a few ice skating rinks are open throughout January, so you can practice your triple toe loop well into the New Year.

Lace up your skates, don your sequins, and check out the top London ice skating rinks to book this January – below.
